Nationalism and the Money Power

Posted by Guessedworker on Friday, 23 September 2011 23:05.

The last, volatile twenty-four hours on the trading floors and in the political councils have confirmed for anyone interested in knowing the fact (and many are determined not to know it) that political internationalism is in deep trouble.  The European political class appears to be unable to do any more than kick the can down the road.  We are probably still two months away from knowing for sure whether any kind of definitive package can be put in place to prevent the Greek government defaulting on debt repayment, or whether such a default would necessarily drag in Portugal, and Portugal Spain.

The Euro could not survive such an eventuality, and the European process could not survive the loss of the Euro.  It’s something Eurosceptics knew about from the outset, of course, and have been telling the world ever since.  But notwithstanding its predictive power and support among the voters, Euroscepticism remains a minority interest at the top of the main parties, in governments and government departments and, inevitably, in the European nomenclature.  It is a political conviction fatally divorced from office.

There ought to be an opportunity here for political nationalism.  This is the time to talk about economics.  So what would a nationalist economic policy look like in these times?  I’ve been posting the following list, or parts thereof, on various UK national daily threads, just to introduce a few people to the kind of revolutionary ideas that nationalists ought to be exploring.  I’m not sure that any nationalist party could seriously propose very much of it at this stage.  It’s more than a wish-list, though.  The components hang together, and a successful overthrow of the Money Power is the only basis on which our racial goals can be achieved.

1. Ring-fence retail banking and protect private savings and company assets.  Consign the rest to its fate.

2. End the fractional reserve system.  Encourage savings in the private sector and investment in the business sector.

3. All capital elements of credit extended under the fractional reserve system to be repaid by digitally-created transfers, the outstanding interest to be repaid as a short-term loan.

4. Repay the bond and guilt markets on the same basis, ending the national debt crisis, and freeing the economy from the fixation on GDP and endless growth.

5. Repatriate the legal right of government to issue currency, and invest it in the economy free of interest, using capital projects, the welfare system and general government expenditure to do so, not the banks.

6. End race-replacement immigration, repatriate/relocate the Third World in England and all its seed.

The nett effect would be to give the nation, the land, and the politics back to the true people, and that is the ultimate good.

The market would take care of the rest.

The revenge of the Decembrists

Posted by Guessedworker on Saturday, 17 September 2011 00:50.

From England First, a lucid explanation of the death, possibly imminent, of the British National Party:

In December 2007 a group of senior party officials rebelled against Griffin and his then right-hand man Mark Collett (who ironically was to be purged himself in a later schism at the end of March 2010). Leading dissidents were then dismissed from their positions in the party, including former webmaster Steve Blake, former head of admin Kenny Smith, and his wife Nicholla Smith who then ran the BNP merchandising arm Excalibur.

Griffinite security goons raided the rebels’ homes, and the party leadership, in the persons of Griffin and his deputy Simon Darby, began a complicated legal action against their former comrades in March 2008. After the first hearing of this action in Manchester, Simon Darby issued a statement which will no doubt feature in future histories of political hubris:

“We have got everything we asked for….  I believe such moves will be seen as having been crucial for the continuing growth, discipline and structure of our movement.”

Almost three years later the case ended in catastrophic defeat for Darby and his master.  At the end of 2010 they dropped their action, but typically sought to wriggle out of paying the costs.  On 21st December 2010 they lost this argument as well: Griffin and Darby were ordered to pay all of their opponents’ costs.  An initial £45,000 was ordered to be paid by 18th January 2011.

There then began a long drawn out appeal process.  Not that Nick Griffin expected to win any appeal, merely that he hoped to drag out the process long enough for something to turn up, such as a legacy from some deluded millionaire supporter, or a devastating terrorist attack.

By now the courts were beginning to realise that Nick Griffin MEP was a man of straw, so Darby was required to make a deposit of £20,000 with his solicitors so that (if/when the appeal process was exhausted) the courts could be confident that at least some of the bill would be paid.

In August one of England’s most senior judges, the Master of the Rolls, Lord Neuberger, ruled that Griffin and Darby had no reasonable grounds to pursue a further appeal.  By now the stay of execution delaying demand for payment of the £45,000 had expired, so on the morning of 2nd September 2011 High Court Enforcement Officers turned up at Griffin’s home to seize any possessions of value, including his Skoda car, which they planned to sell at auction.

The desperate Welshpool cabal sought yet another stay of execution to delay their inevitable doom.  Yet again it was granted, this time by Lord Justice Rix, but this time on the strict condition that (a) Darby’s £20,000 was handed over within three days, and (b) the remaining £25,000 was produced within a fortnight.

Needless to say, even this £45,000 was only the first instalment of this particular legal bill, set to total more than £150,000, and the party’s total debts add up to well over £500,000.

But even this first hurdle proved too high for the crippled BNP.  Simon Darby and his solicitors failed to hand over the £20,000 and on the expiry of this deadline, on Wednesday afternoon, 14th September, the BNP lost any right to further appeals in this case.  Having realised that the trigger was about to be pulled, Griffin and Darby rustled up £20,000 and paid it into the Court account two days late.

The stay of execution will still be lifted if they fail to meet the 28th September deadline for payment of a further £25,000, in which case the party’s creditors will begin the process of putting the BNP into administration.

Future control of the party would pass into the hands of the Administrator appointed by the court, so Nick Griffin’s much touted election victory and his new constitution, giving him unchallenged dictatorial power for the next four years, would become worthless.  The final step will be to determine whether Nick Griffin should face not merely bankruptcy (in his case for the second time) but a more serious bankruptcy restrictions order, which would result in his removal from the European Parliament.

In that case his replacement would be decided by the Administrator in charge of the wreck of the BNP.

News from the MultiCult:

NYPD very blue: Police officers filmed bumping and grinding with dancers at West Indian Day Parade

The New York Police Department has had to review a video in which two of their officers were filmed bumping and grinding provocatively with dancers at the West Indian Day Parade.

The men in uniform, dressed as NYPD officers, are filmed gyrating their hips behind several women bending down in front of them at the parade in Brooklyn.

Court hears details of life for men kept as ‘slaves’

Four men arrested after a raid on a traveller’s site were remanded in custody yesterday after appearing in court on charges of enslavement.

Three brothers – James “Jimmy” Connors, 23, Tommy Connors, 27 and Patrick Connors, 19 – appeared at Luton Magistrates’ Court along with their brother-in-law James “Big Jim” Connors, 33.

The court heard that many of the alleged victims were required to undertake labour such as ground work, block paving, resurfacing and retiling for little or no pay.

They are currently said to be in varying conditions both mentally and physically, and it was reported last night that a doctor specialising in the care of torture victims has been employed to treat them.

The charges against the defendants relate to alleged victims who were removed from the Greenacres travellers’ site in Bedfordshire after a police raid on Sunday.

The four men face a variety of charges, all of which were allegedly committed between April last year and August this year.

The arrests followed an investigation into alleged offences against the victims by Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Police’s Major Crime Unit.

The defendants live with their families at the site, in Great Billington, Leighton Buzzard.

The left poisoned and unpoisoned

Posted by Guessedworker on Sunday, 11 September 2011 01:54.

Exactly how did elements of the left - the white gentile left, that is - ever get themselves in the position where they cheer on our genetic destruction for the sake of “defeating racism”?  I imagine that all politically free-thinking European men and women have pondered this mystery.  I can only offer the most cursory explanation - basically, a three-word answer, the first and second words each being of three letters (the second being “and”) and the third “religion” ... what Tom Sunic identified in his Homo americus as the seemingly imperishable Puritan tendency in our racial psyche.

There are quite a few answers put forward in the thread to a piece in the Telegraph this morning written by Brendan O’Neill.  His subject matter is the contempt exhibited by two white middle-class Unite Against Fascism members for a woman “guilty” of supporting the English Defence League, conveniently filmed by one of them and posted on YouTube.  O’Neill ascribes this behaviour to class-hatred, but that ignores the single most apparent fact about anti-racism: it is a system of moral punishment.

A commenter on the thread named Manxman got the point:

You do not have to be Sigmund Freud to figure out that there is some peculiar psychology and hypocrisy playing itself out amongst UAF supporters.

The vast majority of them are from middle-class backgrounds and consider themselves socialists/lefties/commies. Yet they support mass immigration which undermines the working-class and provides cheap labour for big business.

They think of themselves as moral crusaders because they profess to love people who have no respect for them (immigrants) and they deeply hate white working-class people whom they regard as a politically-incorrect embarrassment.

Here is the offending video.  See what you make of the psychology of these people.

Prey World II: Organised Rage

Posted by Guessedworker on Sunday, 04 September 2011 20:25.

For the last week I’ve been attending to my occasional occupation as a Telegraph thread contributor, sometimes in company with my colleague and friend Lurker.  The older I get the more single-minded I have to be, I’m afraid, and so I’ve been neglecting MR, my post-bag, my duty to comprehend messers Hegel and Heidegger, and lord knows what else.  Hope it was worth it, but of course there’s no way to tell.

One of the neglected mails in my inbox was from Alexander Merow, the author of the Prey World series.  My apologies to Alexander.  His mail announced the translation into English of the second instalment in the series, Organized Rage.

This time the narrative of resistance is set in Japan.  The ebook can be read in PDF form here.

In the foreword Alexander and his translator Thorsten Weber again appeal for a native English-speaker to cooperate with them in the task of making the translation easy on the ear:

This is the English version of the second book of Alexander Merow`s “Prey World” series. The novel was translated by Thorsten Weber and the writer. It is still no professional translation and the translator is still no “native speaker” or English teacher. He is just a guy, who loves science-fiction and dystopias. So don`t laugh about some translations, or the wrath of a real freak will come over
you! And Mr. Merow and his friend are really some kind of “freaks”.

The author has already found a lot of interested readers all over Germany, and we hope that he will also find some new readers in the English-speaking countries. Furthermore, we would be glad, if a “real” mother-tongue speaker would edit this English version one day.  Now the fight against the World Government and the New World Order goes on. By the way, soon the fourth part of the “Prey World” series will be published in Germany. And we will also translate the third part, Prey World – Organized Rage, in the next months. Anyway, have fun with this book and start thinking about the world we live in. We are sure, that you will find a lot of similarities to reality

If anyone fancies that undertaking, please let me know.

Struggling for funds, funding the struggle

CC asked an interesting question on the elitism thread:

If you had Regnery’s fortune at your disposal, what precisely would you personally do with it?

To some extent I answered this in the post to that thread when I listed the kinds of bodies which White Nationalism is capable of bringing forward, and which would have a direct impact on public discourse and white political awareness.  But let’s play the game and select the first of these goodies out of the bag, because there is a logical sequence to them and the first ought, if it’s done right, to lead to the second.  And so on.

So ...

A cool August night in black-blitzed, boarded-up Tottenham.  I lay myself down to doze in my louse-infested, single room garret.  A twice-used tea bag and a cracked shaving mirror await me in the morning, followed by a day up west searching for an open handbag, a jacket carelessly thrown over the shoulder.  The loan shark has my benefit book.  The electricity company’s piggy-bank is already empty.  These are thin times for an investment banker, you see.  The crack whore in the room above is hard at work.  Down in the street a white paramedic is tending to the loser in another misunderstanding about “respect”.  Sleep comes slowly.  But it comes because no one can bear indefinite witness to this dystopia.

Morning.  Light streams in, softened and made golden by the fabulous gauze of the silk curtains and sent out again by the brilliant white of the bedsheets to sparkle in the white and gold of a wall-covering also of silk, also fabulous, and several pieces of preposterous 18th century French furniture.  Oh, this isn’t right.  Still dreaming.  I chase away the sleep.  The lousiness of a low London life does not re-materialise.  That moment of dizzy self-doubt.  What is happening ... is this reality or something else?  The bed is as big and soft-sprung as a Cadillac, and the bedroom could house half a tennis court. It might be real.  It seems real.  But it can’t be.

I am on my feet.  They disappear deep into a sea of wool.  Some fancy lettering floats in the middle of it.  “WR II”, four-feet across. Tottenham is definitely not beyond the casements.  I am lost.  A door three yards high and framed with carvings beckons me into a dressing room. More carved wood, more French furniture ... a vast mirror.  Shit, this poor London boy thinks, peering in.  I’ve seen that face before.  That’s Bill fucking Regnery.

A history of intellectual tyranny

Posted by Guessedworker on Friday, 26 August 2011 23:46.

“A substantial section of the chavs ... have become black.  The whites have become black.  A particular sort of violent, destructive, nihilistic gangster culture has become the fashion, and black and white, boy and girl, operate in this language together - this language, which is wholly false, which is a Jamaican patois that’s been intruded in England.  And this is why so many of us have this sense of literally a foreign country.”

David Starkey, historian, famously opining on the London riots on the BBC’s Newsnight

Two days ago the Times Literary Supplement carried the response of Starkey’s academic peers, or at least one hundred and three peerless advocates of progressive thinking.  Their letter takes the view that, as a “historian of elites” but not “race and class”, Starkey was the wrong man for the job of debating negro life:

The problem lies in the BBC’s representation of Starkey’s views as those of a “historian”, which implies that they have some basis in research and evidence: but as even the most basic grasp of cultural history would show, Starkey’s views as presented on Newsnight have no basis in either. In particular, his crass generalisations about black culture and white culture as oppositional, monolithic entities demonstrate a failure to grasp the subtleties of race and class that would disgrace a first-year history undergraduate.

What they don’t like (but non-elitist folks do) is Starkey’s implication that a “particular sort of violent, destructive, nihilistic gangster culture” is just blacks being black, while the chavs’ immersion in that is whites being black.  Which sounds perfectly reasonable to me.

I estimate that between 30 to 40% of the signatories are not of native British descent.  Some are only post-grads.  The prime movers appear to be Alun Munslow , who has no immediate connection to London’s black or white underclass that I can see, and Paul Gilroy, who is at least black (though a product of Stuart Hall’s Birmingham School).

The letter concludes in suitably repressive style:

We the undersigned would therefore ask that the BBC and other broadcasters think carefully before they next invite Starkey to comment as a historian on matters for which his historical training and record of teaching, research and publication have ill-fitted him to speak. If his celebrity and reputation for giving offence still persuade producers that he is worth the money, we would not seek to censor him nor determine their choices: however, we would ask that he is no longer allowed to bring our profession into disrepute by being introduced as “the historian, David Starkey” when commenting on issues outside his fields of expertise.

Starkey will probably stay silent and rise above this challenge to his well-paid notoriety.  But I suspect that in private his response might go something along the lines of:

A substantial section of the professoriate in the humanities ... has become Jewish.  British academics have become Jewish.  A particular sort of repressive, destructive, relativistic collective culture has long become the intellectual fashion on campus, and every humanities lecturer or student is required to operate in this language together - this language, which is wholly false, which is a Marxist revolutionary product that’s been intruded into higher education.  And this is why so many of us have this sense of the British university as, literally, an anti-white institution.”

That, too, would be all too true.

Interview by Counter-Currents.

Posted by Guessedworker on Monday, 22 August 2011 23:45.

As a result of the CMS article I received a request from Greg Johnson for an interview.  In turn, I requested a QA format because that allows me to think about my replies at leisure, and avoid a few of those inevitable foot-in-mouth moments.  Greg sent the first question this evening, to which I have replied as below.  I am going to build up the interview on this post, as we progress with it.

Question 1: Have you had any dealings with William Regnery? If so, what transpired?

Unusual place to start.  Back in 2007 Tom Sunic suggested that I make an introduction.  At the time I was interested in identifying and bringing together in a virtual but real-time environment a small group of people distinguished by the capacity for originality.  My experience of what passes for the apogee of radical right thinking - I mean foundational philosophy - was that it draws in large measure from the same wells as fascism and National Socialism, and from these ideologies themselves.  Of course, on both sides of the Atlantic there was also a quantity of serious thought given over to interpretation, analysis, strategising, protest, and so forth.  But there was nothing that I could see that was newly culled from a modern understanding of Man and Nature, and that opened out into an expansive and creative enquiry into the truths of who we are and how to live.

In the Anglosphere the thinking was, on one hand, essentially religious, meshing flawlessly with the 20th century fictions of a European spirit of race and mythic destiny, and, on the other, empirical, producing stone-cold certainties about human bio-diversity, sociobiology, gene interests, and so on.  It was (and is) a barren coupling.  I wanted to find some basis for reconciling the unreconcilable ... science and philosophy, truth and beauty, the New World and the Old, because then we might have a foundation on which others could build intellectually.  And we might, if we were lucky, come into possession not just of a reactionary critique of liberalism à la de Benoist but something shattering, something epochal and renewing.

I raised this heady notion with a few people I respect, some of whom are members of CMS.  I offered my own theory that one possible path to reconciliation was to move the philosophy into existentialism and the religion into esoterism ... at all times asking the question: what is true?

Perhaps not surprisingly, what I found was that, by and large, the scientists saw the point quickly.  The few philosophers I was able to talk to would not look beyond the famous “impossibility” of reconciling thought and experience.  It was clear, though, that in reality they were hostile to any threat to the Weltenschauung they had carved out by their own hand from the bedrock of the Western canon.  They were, I’m afraid, telling me that they did not possess the capacity of original thinking.  I believe few original thinkers, even those given to Idealism, would be disinterested in a group endeavour to change the European Mind.

So I let go of the group project and did not take up Tom’s suggestion of talking to William Regnery.  The only point of doing so would have been to use his contacts to potential participants.  Today, I am using MR to encourage an ontological approach to the problem.  It has many critics and disbelievers.  But they are not the ones who hold the key to the future.  Fascism will never be our new thought world, and will never gift us a sovereign and free European life.
